Mindfulness

Mindfulness is the psychological process of bringing one’s attention to experiences occurring in the present moment (now), which can be developed through the practice of meditation and other training methods.

Mindfulness is becoming very popular for many people in all walks of life and studies have shown that worry and rumination, which contribute to mental illnesses such as depression and anxiety, can be helped by mindfulness-based training.

There is no formal mindfulness class offered at the moment, however mindfulness always forms part of the yoga, tai chi, flow and Systema classes.
